Eileen Davidson

Elegant and charming, Eileen Davidson is an actress and daytime soap royalty.

Born and raised in California, Eileen began her acting career at 21, first coming to notice in the cult classic Sorority Row. Her other early credits include Eternity opposite Jon Voight and Armand Assante and playing the lead in Stephen Cannell’s series, Broken Badges.

Eileen is best known for her role as Ashley Abbot on the #1 rated daytime series, The Young and the Restless, and also as Kristen DiMera on Days of our Lives.

For the past two years, Eileen has played both roles concurrently, which is nothing unusual for her, as from 1997 to 1998 she made television history by playing five roles simultaneously on Days of our Lives.

In 2014, after three nominations, she won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her main role on Days of our Lives. Always trying to stay busy and creative, Eileen has written four novels with prolific mystery writer Robert Randisi, three of which were published by Penguin Paperbacks.

When not writing or acting, Eileen paints, surfs, and plays piano and guitar. She is married to Vincent Van Patten, a former child star, professional tennis player ranking 25th in the world, current host of World Poker Tour and the son of Hollywood legend, Dick Van Patten.

Together they live in Malibu, where Eileen is mother to 12-year-old Jesse and step mom to 22-year-old Duke and 20-year-old Vinny.
